The mission of the KOREAN FOUNDATION OF PUERTO RICO is to develop a vibrant relationship between Puerto Rico and both the Korean American community as well as Korea itself.
Our mission is achieved through three interrelated strands of activity: PHILANTHROPY, EDUCATION and CULTURAL EXCHANGES.
The Foundation believes that the combined impact of its activity will encourage Korean companies and entrepreneurs to consider establishing business ventures on the island.
The Korean Foundation of Puerto Rico was established in 2019.
We are exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and Section 1101.01 (a) of the P.R. Internal Revenue Code; EIN 66-0924121.
We are also included as a Puerto Rico charity under Commission Especial Conjunta de Fondos Legistativos (CECFL) which signifies that our foundation is officially recognized for its efforts in addressing child property and community development within Puerto Rico.
